Default Cultural Gear for Tanks

Hello all! I am currently a 52 barbarian warrior who follow Rallos Zek and I was wondering if there is any culturally crafted plate gear in the game at the moment that I could benefit from. I saw some of the Innoruuk gear and it looks pretty good. I know more recipes were added in Velious and Luclin, but that was before my hey day. I also played a dwarf warrior on live, so I'm not as familiar with the armor opportunities that can be smithed for barbarians. I figured I would make this post here so people can add information or perhaps ask questions about their own race/deities.

As a BAR warrior that follows RZ, you could look into the Ogre cultural smithing plate recipes, it's slightly inferior to planar, and will probably cost a lot(assuming there's Ogre smiths around to begin with), but it is an option.

Example here: http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_item.php?item=7363

There is gear for Agnostic warriors, but in general the enchanted, non-imbued versions of cultural equipment is slightly inferior(usually some minor stats missing) to enchanted imbued versions(which are deity-specific).

Edit: Although I don't know how much of this stuff is actually working in-game.

The Rallos Zek human field plate is also an option for Barbarian warriors. Stats seem pretty similar to the Ogre stuff, with slightly less ac.

Don't know for sure. There appears to be Iksar cultural, Cabilis Scale Armor that's in the same era as the others, but whether or not it's in game I dunno.

Example:

Doesn't seem that great anyway(about par with Kylong stuff), so if it's not in I don't think you're missing out on much.

For Human/Barb/Half-Elf, next update should see currently broken intermediate combine fixed which will allow human smith to make the Qeynos Enchanted Full Plate. The (silver) version has +sta/+agi and better AC than the Field Plate you can make in Freeport. It's not great, but some pieces are decent. Per EQTC, the Greaves are AC 18 and 5sta/4agi.

The dwarf/halfing/gnome wearable, brell worshiping, armor is fantastic... for those of the "proper-sized" persuasion.
