So even if the goverment dissolved the military, it wouldn't be able to change the unsurmountable stress the medical industry has put on our country.

The only way to fix it is to completely destroy the entire thing and hope that we can rebuild a better version of it from the ashes.

It's also worth remembering that 100% of research is payed for with grants/taxes none of those trillions pay for it.

The US already doesn't collect enough taxes for mandatory spending (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security). When you add in discretionary spending and a couple more trillion Biden and Congress keep passing... I really don't know what they plan on doing.
