What sucks is that the old infected paw was removed before the spoiler sites and mob databases like Illia's Bestiary really got off the ground, so there's not a lot of info.
This post references a named that I haven't heard before anywhere and isn't even on the map. It's hard to be sure what's real and what's not.

Killing the High Shaman Kurrpock will also force the spawn on the Darkelf. The Darkelf spawns right outside of the room with Kurrpock by the underwater tunnel.
