The DPS gain from an Avatar proc is minimal compared to everything else for characters that can be gained in Velious.

Are you aware you're saying velious minus primal is better dps than kunark plus primal. Devil's advocate: Surely the fact that you need to state this shows the point is contentious and reinforces how powerful such items as primals are for DPS classes?

Either that or AG is misvaluing the ease to attain vs the +10% or whatever dps from 100 attack.

I'd take velious gear with no primal over kunark gear + primal any day
