Error when launching game

When I follow the steps given and launch the game, it launches but the screen is black except for my classic EQ cursor. It stays on this screen. Sometimes when I minimize EQ and then get back in it makes its way to the login part. please help, i dont see anyone else having this same issue

I have the same problem.

I just upgraded my graphics card from GTX730 to GTX1050ti and now I get a black screen when loading EQ.

I can't even get to the first screen to press "login" - just black and the mouse cursor.

I use to have this problem then updated my BIOS and all was fixed. Yes, you read right it was a BIOS problem.

this was a driver problem....

338.13 doesn't work for me

Everquest (project 1999) - black screen
Starwars Galaxies Emu - black screen
Team Viewer - black screen
Elite Dangerous - works, but very high CPU usage.

Rolled back to 387.92 everything is working again
