Lowbie Wizard staff

Hi, i'm very new to wizard on EQ. I'm a big fan of staffs. Are there any lowbie ones I could get for cheap on my toon, less than 100 pp? I also have a 32 necro who could camp someplace for a drop. Any recommendations?

Ice Crystal Staff (1hb) from Permafrost
Fire Crystal Staff (1hb) from Solusek A
Water Crystal Staff (1hb) from Lake Rathe
Lost Staff of the Scorned (2hb) from City of Mist

Could probably camp one of the 1hbs on your Necromancer. Otherwise any of these could be found for 50-100pp.

Lost staff of the Scorned for sure. Great at low level for melee, good at high level for mana free group port clicky right next to EC and a bank city.

You should strive to get both of these. The temperate flux staff is almost a necessity for quad kiting as it is clickable from inventory and provides an instant-cast aggro spell. Also useful for higher level mobs in a group as it does give a bit of minus resist.

I've also used a Dagger of Frost on my wizard, it procs at level 20.

Thanks a lot, guys. Ended up grabbing the crystal water staff. Lost staff looks like the way too go but wasn't possible on my necro. Any other pieces I should try to camp for?

If you get a timer on phinegal , the perma campers may be willing to let you loot one if they've been at it a while.
