They are animals. I've used them as pets on my druid. Tigerraptors in WL by SS entrance is excellent fear kitting around levels 42-45+. Careful of the slightly higher level tigersaurus and the named. Be mindful of wolf form, however, it takes you down approximately a faction level to the CoV mobs. It is easy enough to test your faction status on Rolandal.

Ended up dong raptor in WL and got to 44. They're starting to green now. Is it group time finally or is there another spot for animal hunting? Maybe panthers?

Are the raptors in timorous deep considered animals? Those might be good

Panthers and tigersauros (higher level raptors) in WL are roughly the same level. So if the raptors are green, the Panthers will be too. If it's just the lower-level raptors greening out, then ya you can move to panthers or the higher raptors. Also, there's some mid-30's to low-40's animals in EW (rhinos, mammoths, griffins) that might be viable fear kiting for you.

Sadly they are not. They were originally, but at some point in the timeline the animal tag gets removed (why? I have no idea).

I would not recommend hunting those on anything that cannot group snare. Huge aggro radius, runs at sow speed and no easy rezzes available. Recipe for disaster.

Do you think this is doable with a level 40 moderately twinked SK? Or does lack of harmony cause problems?

The Tigeraptors by SF are basically on top of each other, but you could maybe split them with FD.

May be easier 42-43, but if darkness and fear land regularly you are golden. Plus you can zone to SS if in trouble. They are fast and hit fairly hard, but doable.

Split with darkness/FD.

I can’t imagine how good the XP is these days, I got over half of 59 with him during the hybrid penalty days. Certainly worth looking into.
