CoH was such a great game - nearly cried when they shut down the server.

CoH was first of many MMOs that lured me away from EQ...but I always come back.

Tried my best to get into the raids etc their but was honestly not eq anymore. After you raid Planes of Power rest of it went down hill.

IMHO When you as a player have defeated all the in game gods that is great point to stop and retire.

EQ didn't drive me away, I was lured away by City of Heroes when I got onto the beta for it, then I went to EQ2 all-in til about 2011, and it was single player games and MOBAs after that until just getting back into p1999

I don't remember what expac it was, but it was in 2008-2009. I recall duoing with my dad, looking over at him, and saying, "Are you bored? Because I'm bored." His reply was, "I've been feeling that way myself lately..."

We unsubbed that night, and never logged back in.

I quit after our guild completed Planes of Power, it was very fun raid expansion for sure. But after that, it got stale very quickly for me.
