didn't net neutrality almost kill the internet last time through tragic level of server costs that were unsustainable and caused a massive sweeping influx of pornographic ads and invasive virii popups?

*thinking*

hardware is cheaper now?

it's not like these costs are slowing down any of the massive data centers these big tech companies utilize while at the same time shouting in our faces about the need for us all to "go green"

these places draw mega-watts of power and require huge carbon footprints in manufacturing all the gear that they use and constantly replace/upgrade

real talk, the grid can barely handle air conditioning forget about millions of EVs. The Corporatocracy just wants more resources for themselves and less rights/freedoms for the rest of us serfs.

Then there is the energy/mineral requirement for AI, lol fuhgedaboudit
