At what level can a Wizard solo hill giants?
Made 34 last night and was wondering if I could start soloing them with average gear.

From what I understand it would be very slow going, but yes. You could...

Hill Giants and sand giants are 33-37. So, how well do you solo mobs that are dark blue to low red with more than average hitpoints for their level?

If your snare lands your set as long as your mana pool is large enough to destory all its hit points. Killing giants is more for novelty though, since they aren't common enough to make too much money, are heavily sought after, and have above average hit points as mentioned above.

To be honest as a fellow wizard I wouldn't bother with Hill Giants. Highly camped and in a spot thats really out of the way frankly. If you want to play with giants I'd do the sand giants in Oasis. Good luck though at 34 without a lot of good gear its going to be rough.

On classic i imagine it's not quite as good, but still, lotsa damage and their epic effect is one of the best (especially combined with a manastone)

I remember soloing them at a lower level as wizard and it being really crazy. Without Jboots I would've been toast plenty of times.
