Default MAC Help w/ Today's Patch(1/31/16)

Hi,

I am playing on a MAC through Wineskin Winery and with today's update I can no longer play because of outdated files. I downloaded the newest batch of p99 files but I'm not quite sure what to do with them. I used a video for setting up P99 through Wineskin and i'm not really sure exactly what I did. Do I just need to replace every file that comes with the new p99 files with the old ones? Thanks

you should just need to copy the files from the patch into the drive_c/sony/everquest directory (or whatever your directory is called)

I have copied the files, on multiple occasions. Even had my bro send me his updates files (which are working for him) and mine still cannot detect the updates files. Please help!

Hey man, you need to download the newest P99files , I believe it's 41. Then you just need to replace all the files by dragging into your eq. You need to right click your EQ wineskin and click show package contents to navigate to the C:

You need to make your when you drag you click replace, you can also hit the check to apply to all so you can do it all at once. Make sure though for example , when you get the p99 files there's a folder in there called UI files, you need to open that and drag the files over from that to the ui files folder in your wineskin c: , don't just drag the folder

Download the latest patch (in this case V41)
Right click your short cut to EQ and select "show package contents"
Navigate to your EQ folder.

Open up your downloaded patch in another window
Copy the files in your patch window (NOT INCLUDING THE 3 SUB FOLDERS) and paste them into your EQ folder (remember to replace all).

Open up the sub folders in the patch window one by one and copy the files.
Paste them into the equivalent sub folders in your EQ folder.
*** Important *** In the UIfiles sub folder is another folder called "Default". DO NOT
just copy and paste this into the equivalent UIfiles folder in your EQ folder. Instead open
the "default" folder and copy all the files and paste them in the "default" folder.

Never replace a folder in your EQ folder with a folder in the patch. Instead always copy/paste the files in those folders into the relevant folders in your EQ folder.

Hope this helps.
