Why after 15 years ruin the Vindi bp? i don't even have the bp and I'm upset. It looks like a mistake every time i see it. I thought for sure this was another graphics bug.

When velious came out all those new textures were Uber to me and most fashion questers. Crystal chitin and rygorr did a lot for my rangers flashiness in addition to low cost low desire tolans.

I told myself it was an AC build with the dragon scale instead of rygorr but really I just liked having brown plate

Velious textures are king. That they don't push them on live as transmogs or ornaments is beyond me.

in their ineptitude over the years they 'lost' the ability to code old-model textures

or some such like that

What's 15 years? Velious was 22 years ago. Velious p99 was 8 years ago. This is what the vindi BP looked like the last couple months of velious, but nobody noticed because luclin graphics changed everything again right after.

A lot of the velious item graphics were obvious placeholders, including placeholder stats, and some of the classes were not yet fully implemented at level 60 (wizards, mages, rangers, druids).

EverQuest was always a moving target of a game. I wonder what a fully polished implementation would look like. We never got to see it.
