I would say go bard,

Reason is endgame chanter spells on this server are soo outta whack on the mana cost to cast its unreal and most if not all 55-60 spells you just dont use cause of this reason.

And I voted for bard because enchanters just seem boring. Who wants to spend their time medding? Even with mana regen spells your life is spent waiting for that blue bar to go up..

This is so true. I always find myself trying to hit my canni key on my chanter. Just sitting there is so frustrating.

And yet Enchanters are far more needed in groups than Bards. Enchanter haste > Bard Haste. Enchanter slow > Bard slow. Enchanter mana regen > Bard mana regen. Enchanter mez (on targets with high resists) > Bard mez.

there are plenty of people here who main bards who choose to double-tap rather than rely on macros.

I did Double tapping all the way till melody went in on live just has always been easier for me, but now I use macros cause i thought it would be a good idea, but i end up double tapping them too lol.
