Rangers can do around 120 dps on lower hp mobs like Vindi. Of course, they have to Trueshot and have a BFG and hopefully avoid an awkward conversation about why they couldn't bump. Also, rogues exist. I like rangers though. I used Cecily's Ranger to kill Quillmane a few times.
