It would take a while to write a letter, send it to the book author, and chances are he'd never read it anyway.

The meta of twitch and followers of a stream is a bit different than readers of a book author and his proceeds going to charity.

I struggle to find a better way to explain it, but I just think this isn't quite as benign and goody goody as people make it seem.

Maybe I am just jaded and pessimistic, only seeing the possible bad elements of this but in the big picture it doesn't even matter, anyway.

I don't think the dude is getting rich off it, and I do think he does have good intentions and his acts are helpful to those that get things.

I just think he is using pixels to pander his twitch though and that kinda makes it taste bad.

I think its great especially on twitch. You never know how many people might run across his stream and then decide to check out the server.

I must be old but the appeal of twitch baffles me completely, why would anyone watch someone else play a game, even worse when they have a vanity cam and you see their pasty skin illuminated by gentle glow of their monitors.
