Post AMD issue with starting game? related to 1017 error but there is no listed solution

now to begin i do have a solution for it, found it myself however it is quite annoying for me to do. i followed the instructions at https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=94928 however nothing there worked after doing the entire list of fixes around 7 or 8 times and this solution is basically not discussed anywhere except one place on the internet which i cant find again. it is the 1017 error, but to make the game work the guy that gave me a solution of reducing the clock speed of my cpu in my bios to no more than 4.2 GHz and instantly my issues are now zero.

does anyone know of a workaround for this or do i have to mess with my bios every time i want to play and stop playing? i have no idea why the hell this would even cause an issue but this morning i popped my cpu back to its 5.0 GHz and now the 1017 error is back. i can sign into other servers but the game goes turbo and i can cross zones in like 3 seconds and it is indeed set to 1 core, i tried with the batch file, via task manager, and changing the shortcut to launch it with 1 core as well. i also launch it through WinEQ

afterwards i decided to test it and i changed it to 4.3 GHz and same thing it did not work and comes up with error 1017 so i changed to 4.2 GHz and it works like a charm. i got the AMD FX 9590. i am mostly making this to perhaps help others that get this error since it took 3 days to try and figure it out and there is no solution to my specific issue on this website. this issue seems so odd i dont even know if anyone has a solution for it but if anyone does i would be greatful.
