Boat Crashing

So every time - and I mean every time - I have to ride the Faydark boat, I crash when zoning out of Freeport or Butcherblock. Crash might not be accurate, the client just outright freezes. I've tried it both in windowed and fullscreen mode.

Which conveniently dumps me in the water right at the zone line, and have to swim to docks then wait for the next boat, etc, etc. Curiously I never crash zoning out of OOT.

I've checked files, re-installed, etc etc. Any clues on where I can start looking for the problem?
