Default Invisibility, and your character

I have searched and never really found any info, but why do some invis spells hide your character (not visible to you on screen). And other such as my necro invis undead or Bard invis still have my character visible to me but have (name).

Pretty sure I have seen a couple of Youtube video's with character going invis yet they still see their character, but say on my Druid I can't see my character. Which makes you go 1st person so you don't end up falling off a ledge etc.

See invis is the difference

Bards invis song includes see invis. Your necro might have a Deadeye item or DMF which both have see invis

Druid gets the See Invisibility spell at level 14. If you cast that before Camo, you will see your character

It's the same with invis vs. animals: you are not undead or an animal, so you (and other players) can still see through it.
