Default SK 2handers around 600pp?

Beginning @ level 1 is there a good 2 hander to start out with? Troll if that makes a difference.

is the Rod of Lamentation really only 572 ± 222 as the wiki suggests? seems like a really good weapon and crazy cheap

Before level 20 you want something fast due to damage cap. Any weapon with damage over 10 before level 10, and 14 before level 20 is of no added benefit. Nathsar greatsword is a good 2hander pre level 20. There are some 1handers that will have a better ratio for pre 20 combat.

Deathbringer's Rod or Zealot's Incarnadine Sword are the way to go, after 30 and your damage cap goes away. Before then, one of the two best SK 1handers should be where it is at (Noctivagant Blade and Ebon Mace) for damage.

Yes! I was just replying to the above poster at his suggestion of getting a Noct or EM, which is a moo point as Joey would say since I don't have the scratch for those.

Argent Defender, sometimes sells for as low as 100pp if u r lucky.
It is slow, but ok to keep your skill up to date.

Until Dmg cap comes off, use a 1h + shield.

Depending on your race, Brell's Keg Popper is a nice cheap 1h blunt(15/35).
