This. Hide is invaluable for re-charming (you can pre-cast then use hide, can't use the pet dismiss as of a few months? ago). Maxing cha isn't terrible, but +HP and +CHA > int, anyway. Putting points into cha will allow more +HP gear. And the stamina return is hilarious on casters (on my clr at 50, 5 sta is like 12 hp, lulz).

Just have 3 sets of gear like me. Int set for tradeskilling, cha set for charming, and my usual set which is hp!!! You ain't a real chanter unless you wear a hbc!!

Agree with earlier posters. STA is a complete and utter waste for casters.

Split your points between INT and CHA and you'll be fine.

My chanter is 35 (Dark Elf) and is currently 140 int 205 cha. I put a bunch of points into charisma. I wish I had gone with more Int. Even with basic gear 200 charisma is easy to hit taking into consideration your cha buff.. Though I guess 250 wouldnt hurt :P
