Default Another Torpor Question

Would you sell your JBB and Iksar Chestplate to finish off funding Torpor?

I traded two fungis (one of which was literally "the shirt off my back") and some plat to get my Torpor. Since one fungi is worth more than a JBB and Ikky BP combined, the answer to your question would be ... yes [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Honestly, once you get Torpor you'll find it hard to notice a Fungi's regen, let alone an Ikky BP's. And while you may miss your JBB a little, if you want you can solo farm the Seb crypt to earn one back (or, if you don't want to play at 3AM to get the crypt to yourself, you can farm any number of other camps to earn 10k plat, and then you can just buy a new one) ... after you get Torpor.

Torpor will open up entire new worlds of plat and item farming to you, so the correct answer is that you should sell anyone and anything (RMT your children if you have to [You must be logged in to view images. For the longest time I kept fungi tunic with torpor because I always thought the regen is beneficial no matter what happens. Turns out torpor is so good you really don’t need it. Plus once you’re 60 that chest slot can be filled with tons more ac and hp like ss bp, vindi bp, or even the cheaper thurg bp does wonders when trying to max out the rest of your stats.

Before 60, fungi tunic + fungi staff by all means and after sell those, surprisingly jbb is still useful even at 60, despite what some naysayers might say. Good luck!

I sold my Fungi, JBB, and Heiro cloak to buy Torpor and have never regretted it for a second. Sell blood if you have to, Torpor and an epic are all you need.

There is nothing you have on an alt that you can't buy again with the money you can make doing with Torpor. It is without question worth selling whatever you need to get it.
