Project1999 = Biggest Tease Ever.
Recently while playing SWTOR I heard people talking in /general chat about project 1999 and Everquest. I got a private message from someone saying "google project199, read it, shit your pants, then change your life". Naturally my heart started to race at the very thought of once again playing EQ (and death touching the shit outta people). I read that it will require Everquest Titanium and I think, oh well thats prolly like $10 on eBay. So I search and come up with nothing. So I search on Amazon to find 3 copys! Only the 3 copies are $187 a piece!!!!
I saw that the pvp server had around 150 people playing last night and didn't think that was very much. So I think to myself, if I can't even find a copy of EQ then that means other people can't, which means that the 150 people I saw playing will most likely NEVER grow to be anything larger than 150 people. I feel compelled to do math here, lets see. If by the year 2013 there are only 3 copies of EQ Titanium available....hmm....how many more people can play? Well if I carry the one and divide by PI.....oh that looks correct. THREE! So my issue here lies. Someone awesome decided to make a EQ emulator. 1000 awesome people bought all the copies of the game. Growth potential = ZERO. I understand that the developers of project1999 never intended to support 20 million players. I also thought when I heard about project1999 that I could play. I guess I missed out on this one. After 12 sad years of not playing EQ, project1999 has been the biggest "get my hopes up, then knocking me down" I've had. Thanks. Btw last night after hearing about project1999 I called a friend who I havent talked to in years to tell him "WE CAN PLAY EQ AGAIN". We stayed up for 45 minutes last night laughing over the old times. We were on the Vallon Zek server. I was a gnome SK named - Saveaux He was a high elf enchanter - Udeeleos

There is a lot of flawed logic in your post that I am not even going to touch. So I will share just a couple of things with you. If you want to BUY titanium then you can do so for much cheaper. I bought a used copy from Amazon for 42 bucks - small price to play EQ again.
There are other ways that cost nothing but I am sure you can figure those out.
