Default Lowbie quest xp

I got around to creating a couple of green characters. Said in polls I wouldn't, but they sucked me in of course.

I read on forums last week that belts, fangs and chips were giving neglgible xp. Is that still the case?

If so, are people stockpiling them for when xp is restored, or have we been told this is how it will be for the duration?

Belt exp is fine as far as I can tell. Just vendor the skeleton chips. I heard that the goblin fangs are exactly how they are on blue currently, nerfed but decent.

Some people are paying 1pp a stack for chips, so I would just bank any you find.

Bone chips and other "newbie yard" quests have had their experience nerfed, due to the increased spawn rates of newbie yard mobs, and of course to keep people from dinging 20 just by pestering Deputy Tillin (Not that they don't try, that poor man).

Quests that go "further out" like gnoll fangs and orc belts seem to be the same as on blue.

IIRC bandit sashes were nerfed as well. The EXP also hasn't been bumped up in according with spawn rates going back to, or toward, normal. Leads me to think that it was decided to essentially permanently nerf these quests, but maybe it will change down the road.

I turned in 40 bandit sashes at level 13 and got about 3 1/2 yellows

Those aren’t in at launch. I don’t know when they are added. Does anyone else know?
