All of the VP dragons, actually. No telling how many of those it takes.
I've gotten at least 60 +VS hits now off of Kunark dragons and I'm still
KoS. Oh, add Trakanon and Severilous as well. Basically all the Kunark
dragons and Esorpa in WW. I'm come to the conclusion that killing
dragons is not an effective way to get non-kos there, unless you're not
too deeply kos to begin with. If you've maxxed negative, good luck.

Currently VP dragon hits are used by end game raiders as an easy fix for Overthere Outpost (Venril Sathir) faction.

This guy in era (Dec 2, 2001) is talking about the hits being a trivial increase to OT outpost (Venril Sathir) faction. 60+ hits and still kos.

While we may never know the original amounts, it seems the current values may be way too high.

My Dark Elf ended up KOS in the outpost, and well liked in FV, just by playing Kunark. I didn't set out to do that. I feel like the classic devs were trolling with that faction, it never made any sense.

I'm max ally now, years later, from VP. I couldn't care less though, that's by accident. The faction is useless.

Seems these dragons only gave +25 to VS

Correct faction hits on the Coirnav server are:

League of Antonican Bards +125
Mayong Mistmoore +75
Venril Sathir +25

This carries for Talendor, Gorenaire, Severilous, and all of the other VP dragons.

No way that's correct... I remember SPECIFICALLY getting from Non-Kos to Warmly on live in just a few dragons kills my first time in VP. I'm not saying factions perfect, but it was definitely WAY WAY higher than that on live without question

I've not researched VP much, but if your guild killed a lot of guardian wurms that split a bunch (And if they gave similar hits?) then perhaps that boosted your faction.

Also, not sure what you mean from "non-KoS". Could be quite a lot of gray area there. Race/class, illusion as well, etc

It's not exactly reliable, but here's the last faction hit on the log after a few VP raids, not sure how bad their VS faction was to begin with, or if they killed much VS faction between their VP raids :

Ring of Scale -???
League of Antonican Bards +375
Mayong Mistmoore +225
Venril Sathir +75

The Ring of Scale must be enormous hit, in the revamp zone a yard trash bottomed me out with -799 before reaching max floor. Hoshkar's hit would be at least 25% higher than whatever that true value is.

That seems high compared to what the source was saying in the ancient google forum, but still far closer to what he was saying than what it currently is on P99.

2 trips to VP will take you from KOS to max ally VS off just dragon hits right now -- closer to 1.5 trips really. Current P99 hits are probably +300-350ish? maybe more?
