As much as I hate to say this, the government is going to have to start investing in flyover economics to decrease population density on the coasts. Houston can’t handle any more people. We have 6 million as it is and probably 5 million of them are obese. We’re reaching event horizon. Houston’s obese gravitational pull + traffic will soon absorb the Gulf of Mexico unless drastic measures are taken

Government policy regarding trade favors coastal economic growth, same here as in China. Immigration will need to be reduced to zero and more government / public sector jobs will need to be directed to Iowa, Montana, etc etc if were interested in quality of life in major cities
