I treat every single member of ALS with respect, without regard to gender identity/sexual orientation, etc, because those are non-factors when treating every member with respect.

I’ve given up defending my community. It consists of (((me))). I had found a second me member but he ended his life and then it was just me again. I still carry a measure of sorrow and bitterness about it if I wallow in the memories, but have largely found peace in obscurity.
