I'm sure I have, we all do it, it's an incredibly common device. I'm just not doing it in this case. If you have any specific examples of me strawmanning something I'd like to rectify it. The temperature itt gets turned up on a dime and we all try to dunk on one another and that stinks, but it's kind of the nature of the internet. I do value being able to discuss things though, and hash them out and refine them until we actually understand one another.

Ask a pollster what has changed. You referenced FiveThirtyEight, they talk about it there. To quote Q, do your own research.

Odds are not the same as polling data. Odds are based off modeling the polling data.

And there was no significant modeling that gave Trump only a 1-10 shot before the 2016 election.
