How is server merge going to work with accounts?

How is the server merge going to work accountwise? Are they going to let us make new accounts for the characters to come over?

Actually I had a question about what happens when these accounts merge back to Blue, the reason being that they've allowed you to create the same character names as those on Blue. What happens to two different characters with the same name when the accounts are merged?

Rogean said that the green accounts would merge into blue and if your character is vossiewulf on blue and you have one on green it would then be vossiewulfx.

Yes and never were their definitive words saying it would merge to blue only the “possibility” which has since been ruled out

Nilbog said The green server will, at a time yet to be decided, eventually merge into blue and start over again. This merge will not happen until at least 6 months after the last patch in velious (No earlier than January 2023)
