and if there is any recruitment advice we should listen to it would be how to answer Riot's late night zerg.
Riot has a influx of applicants from great guilds like Infernus, Omni, Europa, Anon, etc. Why do you think that is? What made them chose Riot over AM?

Answer that and you'll fix your recruitment issue, your numbers issue, and last night's Vulak issue.

Can’t think of more than 1-2 from each of AG/BG in the last 6 weeks. I guess it is our fault that they’d rather work with Riot than AM.

I mean.. this is how AM chose to respond to it

https://youtu.be/9eN5_npp6WQ

Riptoes, one of AM’s biggest shit talkers, lost his cool after realizing they were going to lose Vulak. There he is intentionally training multiple flurries into the camp of every other guild in ToV while AM was no where close to our camp, a blatant rage train. That’s pretty scummy and shows a big sore loser who can’t handle other people having a good time together. I hope this was a solo act and not something that others supported, that is an awful way to play this game and I would think someone who acts likes that would face repercussions.

Riot has 234 members that have made a single raid in the last 30 days (which is basically the entire guild since we've been existence for just over a month).

Amazingly, according to Aftermath's DKP site, they have exactly 234 members that have made a single raid in the last 30 days.

I imagine there's some inactive folks on Aftermath's roster that would increase their numbers by a lot, and there are some inactives in Riot too.

Anyway, Aftermath likes to make a point that we team up with other guilds on some targets and that we have to "share loot with other guilds." We see it as having fun with friends - and some of our friends are in other guilds. PS and Core, the two guilds that founded Riot, had a long history of team-ups and working with other guilds (even AM - PS-AM teamups on AoW were a thing in like.. 2017!) Heck, we even teamed up with Aftermath on the last quake to kill Vyemm and Vulak. We've been flying solo more often now due to numbers and coordination (we're still learning everyone's name, voice, skills, etc. within Riot - we haven't been the phalanx training together for years) but we've not closed the door to working with other guilds and sometimes do so for bigger/more challenging/odd hour spawns. We also enjoy a fair and fun competition - it sucks to lose but there's good fun in the race too.

We don't see working together with other guilds (either as part of an alliance to kill a target or as part of a rotation or agreement) as a net loss for us, but I suppose that's just a difference in philosophy. "Denying your enemy of pixels" is not the end goal philosophy of <Riot>

Pretty shitty of him to do that but aren't those the guards that were trained on them.

You just sound like a salty nerd. I imagine they chose to fill the power vacuum left from Tempest, because it was there for the taking. AG and Core made a push, but both of them ultimately failed. However, Core seems to have learned from this and did a great job uniting guilds under one flag.

Doesnt mean you can pull right on top of the other guild :P

its like when AM ate a KT concede when tempest wiped and we started killing KT and they were rezzing right on top of it and dying.

But like i said i wasnt there and seems like its a good thing hehe
