Cool black screen after windows 10 upgrade

Hail, Welmet,

I just upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 and I am getting a strange "black screen" more often than not. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
What's peculiar about it is, the client is still active (It did not crash) because I can still see the logs being updated.

I just tried setting Windows UAC to "off" and will see if that helps.
- I am running WinEQ 2.15?
- I still need to try to upgrade display drivers
- Maybe re-install WinEQ?
- also, if I hit "alt-enter" while in this mode, immediately it will say "Reset Device Failed" and crash
- I believe i set WinEQ to run in compatibility mode "Windowes 7" maybe I will try "Win XP" next

Any one have a similar problems after upgrading to Windows 10?
I think I have nine days left to revert to Windows 7.[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thanks a lot in advance,
-digz[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

post your EQClient.ini and delete it to see if it fixes your client

this isn't an update or windows issue.
this is a configuration issue.

please post your dxdiag

please post your EQClient.ini
