Default DN rats

I've only passed through the zone once or twice. Are the DN rats soloable?

It is possible to solo them but there are several problems down in the tunnels. Rats roam all over the place so you'll have to worry about adds, a large majority of the rats are casters/summon, and there are fear/dispel/beetle/dragon construct traps down there.

Main reason rats suck to solo is the same spawn locations can vary in levels from 50-56 sometimes, so resist rates vary wildly spawn to spawn even for the same named mobs sometimes spawn in level range of 52-56.

A few of the caster rats are same level as my 57 druid. No joke area. If you want to farm them do it at either the tunnel entrance or find a way to get to zland lair and have a ress cleric there. There is a fear trap on the zland side of the snake lake, so have walk on when you hit that or your dead in the snake pit.

Traps in the tunnels can be random, may be a fear trap once then next time a stun trap.

They can also gate, which is a game ender with the casters. If you don't have a way to interrupt spells, better hope your push game is strong.
