Just weighing in here. Tired AF. I saw one insanely TLDR op in GRNF and told unsunghero ppl are dumb af on yt.

Had a 90yr old client at work today say a goodbye I had never heard once in 16 years…

She was quiet, then looked up with sad eyes right as I was closing her door and said “Don’t forget about me”

That was especially sad for a number of reasons: 1. She had Alzheimer’s so she was definitely going to forget about me. 2. I also was definitely going to eventually forget about her it would just take longer, and 3. She didn’t have much family left so soon the world will have forgotten about her

I dunno why, I have seen and heard much more horrible stuff than that but for some reason that hit me right in the feels [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Death is a transformation of energy life and experience. It's a transmutation. It's change.

Information is never truly destroyed either in my experience. It is hard to see how this ladies life, journey, perspective, and death will change reality outside of a personal and egocentric view... and that is not always bad either. I'm not placing judgment on her. Her fear of being forgotten is real.

In reality she. Everything that makes her up. Led up to her. Created and cared for her and in turn she cared for will not be forgotten. It will move forward into the future and new life. And new death. We don't exist in a vacuum separate from eachother and the earth or stars.
