I had a great experience leveling a human necro out of Qeynos.

In my entire time on live(beta to 2007) I never went to the evil class area under the Qeynos arena as far as I remember. Probably because it's stupid difficult to find without spoilers.

It doesn't get more Classic than that.
Qeynos necromancer is fun, the lore there is rich and the cult of bertoxx are psychopaths and the sewers are cool.

I feel like Poisson bolt cast by a bertoxx human necro just does more damage.

The love that went into the newbie experience was incredible imo. i love how you have to solve a treasure hunt riddle in the human necro notes to find your guild (unironically).

I also love the set up of how many weapons you can find at level 1. Being able to upgrade them with tradeskills. Looting or buying cloth armour, or crafting the superior tattered armour (or with practice raw silk).

Making sammies out of wolves and bears, then learning to do grills.

Honestly the first 5 levels are amazing fun played minecraft survival stule

Had a blast lvling my Erudite off my own guards in Paneel in my 20's. I also caught alot of other people coming from the Hole trying to sell quickly, and ended up with almost a full set of Loam.

Is it a roleplaying game or accounting simulator? Play what you like to look at, not what makes the best numbers
