Gina Installation Trouble
Hi all,
I've been trying to get my Gina working on Win 10 and have been completely unsuccessful with multiple friends attempting to help. I had it downloaded and started getting the message: 'Could not load configuration file. Using default settings.' Tried uninstalling and re-downloaded the 'Setup' file from http://eq.gimasoft.com/GINA/Download.aspx and am still receiving the same message with the program closing shortly after. Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated and I have 5k plat on Green for the person who successfully gets my Gina working.

There was another thread on Win 10 installation issues. Not sure if the same issue, but could be worth a look

Just a heads up you can't offer in game items for out of game things. As per the RMT rule.
I don't think that's your intention just wanted to let you know. Number 7, https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2651 Gina also has it's own forum, which you can find the link to on their site at the top right. One thing worth checking for is if you have gina installed look in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ It may be inside two random characters folders in a folder starting with gina followed by more random characters. Check to see if you have to unblock any files in that folder.

Oh wow, thank you for the reminder Baler. For some reason I think I associated Gina to work with an in game task I couldn't figure out and thought to offer some plat. I rescind my offer of 5k but would be sure to share this information with anyone else struggling with the same issues.
Your suggestion resulted in the most progress I've been able to make on this issue. I followed your advice and found the files within those folders. I didn't see a selection to 'unblock' any of the files, however, I deleted all of them and was able to re-install for the first time. Unfortunately, I am now receiving the same error. Would you think it might be where the files are being placed during the installation that could be causing the inability to open correctly? Kavious - Thank you for the link to the previous post, I gave that thread a read prior to posting and tried all of the solutions unfortunately with no success.

Oh my goodness, kept searching around for some extra folders, found and deleted them, and my fresh install is now working!
Baler, thank you very, very much for your advice on this.
