Default EQ on Boot Camp win7

So I have EQ working on boot camp. Using win7 64 bit.

Sometimes I run into an issue though: the game slows down. I run slow, I sit slow, I cast slow, etc.

Have any clue what is causing this?

Could be multi core CPU issue. Look in my signature, use the all in one installer, pick the option to fix CPU issue. It will create a new shortcut on your desktop. Try using that.

If the multi-core prospect doesn't pan out, check your power settings. The power management options allow for drastic cpu power changes even on battery power.
