Speaking of all this class changes, its a shame Elder Scrolls online couldn't do this. Not that I think EQ should, but that's what they were known for, making your own class.

Some crazy stuff here! Got pretty far off track from the OP intent, but it's all fun to think about anyway. My fantasy class would be battle mage. Pretty much magician with no pet spells and himself physically buffed up to basically take the place of the missing pet. Or the other way around, would be a let's say non-plate capable warrior with a couple DD spells and maybe a little bit of utility like gate and invis or something.

Back to the original intent... not a new availble class/race combo, but a one-off that you sacrificed everything else in your account to have? Well that would be easy for me since my highest character is level 13 and I have maybe 100 plat total between all my guys, lol.

Years ago I used to think ogre/bard would be awesome but more recently I've wished for a halfelf necro. Since I've been playing DE necro lately. But no, I wouldn't really sacrifice all for that one... I mean worse starting stats and all, it wouldn't be great. Ogre necro? Hmm, maybe, but low INT would be a serious handicap there, so probably nope other than the coolfactor.

OK, troll monk it is!! Gots the regen, awesome XP penalty, best night vision, no hope of getting to use a class trainer, I love it. Just start all of my skills a 1 instead of 0 so I don't need a trainer and I'll be all over that one. Here, take all my guys! I'll play that monkly troll, lol

It almost happened. Back in like 2011 I was playing my wood elf ranger in the middle of the night in unrest when Rogean broadcasted some mathematical trivia question. I'm pretty fast at this stuff and usually win "First person to send me a tell..." things. I quickly sent him a tell with the answer, which was 1, but somebody must have beat me by like a split second. Rogean said the winner got to choose any item in the game. The person who won went with guise.
