If Eashan was not up before the racers left the doorline it is considered a tracker FTE to tag Eashan and does immediately get disqualified.

This is unquestionably the rule despite common day tracking methods. No player may achieve a legitimate FTE on any mob without starting at the designated starting line. Beneficial or harmful to their interests, any FTE achieved in this way is disqualified and MUST be conceded.

What we do not know from this description is whether or not Eashan was up before the racers left the line. That's the most relevant piece of data and it is missing from your description.

I agree and it seems like this was left out by OP to purposely to sway the "jury".

There is a policy in place that when multiple mobs are up, you call which mob you are going for so that if you get FTE from the other, it will not lock you in and you can continue for the chosen mob. This policy has been in place for some time and is observed by all guilds which directly avoids these situations.

This is neither a policy nor a rule or an agreement, this is simply nerds crossing their fingers hoping that IF it came to petition quest it would stick.
