Low level magician research problem
Trying to research Minor Summoning: Water, a level 16 spell, fails with the message, "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"
From the game resource thread info, I think this should be working: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I also get the same problem when attempting to do practice research to get Practice Rune Azla: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] My character may just be bugged. I have the research skill at 27, which I understand to not be possible at level 16. | ||

research is pretty broke here to raise skills, its better to just use skills + plat to raise it. From 150-190 its about 1,000 plat. Even with maxed you still fail alot here, Gm said it was 5% chance to fail but you ll fail more often than not. So just dump plat into reseach to avoid skilling it. Its broken and over all not worth it.

Mage research has worked okay for me so far (level 29). One thing I noticed was that the spell "Summoning: Earth" had a trivial of 255 while it's probably supposed to be around 60.

Changed Spell: Summoning: Earth to be trivial at 60 instead of 255.
Can someone get me the trivial values for the: Level 16 Water Pet. Level 16 Air Pet. Level 16 Fire Pet. None of these appear to be in the tradeskills db. They will have to be added once I get the trivial values. I know there was a good site a while ago with a great classic research guide (xymarra?) but I can't seem to find it. http://web.archive.org/web/200211230...s.com/xymarra/ That is all I can find but it doesn't have any of the research info.  it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable. | ||
