Im hitting blackburrow atm but I know im KOS currently in queynos.. after killing lots of gnolls will my faction be ok to start handing fangs in or is it just worth avoiding it..

No matter how many gnolls you kill, the warriors near the fang guy will kill you. A druid's wolf form can facilitate the hand-in though.

Although you may find it incredibly difficult to find a Druid high enough in Qeynos to be able to get wolf form

You actually might have a good shot at finding a druid in Qhills camping Hadden, that's what I did.
