Yea no. It healed for 980.

I thought the healing penalty was for shared heals only, IE xxx Healing.

Druid only spells weren't effected.
Ya why would a druid only spell be advertised at 978 and then take a 10% hit...

Why not just call it for what it is (less 10%)

The 10% nerf is on shared priest heals

Guys, that's just straight incorrect information.

Every class but cleric had a -10% applied to any direct heal they cast. Same reason trak bps heal for 90 and not 100.

On my iPhone I can't get everything I'd like on here. This is from druids grove in 2002.

2) Server bonuses and penalties. Cleric 5% bonus on their heal spells = 910 * 1.05 = 956 heal. Druids with their 10% penalty = 978 * .9 = 880. So now we have a druid that heals for 880 and a cleric for 956. Now on to the next step

As much as I'd love to heal better as a Druid, I think the evidence points to an effective heal of 880 after the 10% penalty is applied to 978.

HEALING PENALTY

Remember that druids has a 10% Healing penalty, turns this spell into a 880 hps heal. Not too good [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

ALMOST ONE THOUSAND?

I don't know what may be going wrong for me, but I'm a level 60 druid and this spell has -never- done more than 880 heal. I have used it on myself, casters, tanks, ect. Every person I have asked has ALWAYS reported back to me that this spell heals for 880 tops period. I guess I'm missing something obvious here. Any insight into this would be very helpful. Thanks =)

QFT

Spell has to be put into the database as the full amount. The penalty takes it off when you actually cast it.

Previous bug report on the Trak BPs, even more important in light of Velious melee BPs.

http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=115390

Trak BPs are borked last I checked supposed to heal for 90 (100-10%), but they heal the full 100 per spell data without the proper penalty.

Second, I assume that the druid will use the heal with highest HP heal available. These would be (not including the 10% penalty):

Level 29: Greater Heal, 300 hp (top end of the healing range, which would be reached by 40)

Level 51: Superior Heal, 565 hp (bottom end of the range; I am assuming a level 51 druid since we are using the level 50 warrior hp)

Level 60: Nature's Touch, 978 hp.

With the 10% druid/shaman penalty, the actual amount being healed is:

Greater Heal: 270 hp
Superior Heal: 508 hp
Nature's Touch: 880 hp

They have effectively the same mana/HP ratio. CB should be used for quick, minor healing, while I add NT in when I am playing more of a healer role in raid groups (which I sometimes do, but not always).

Mana cost is as listed. What is different is that the actual HP healed is 90% of what is listed. It is that way for ALL our healing spells. Shaman also have this same reduction.

Wrong. The 10% penalty affected all direct heals. It even affected the Jeldorin proc--a weapon combat proc. People quote different values because some are quoting the raw spell data that was datamined early.

Druids just aren't heavyweights at healing during this game era.

I played a druid on live through kunark and into velious release, never remember nature's touch healing for less than 900 hps ever.

Don't forget the ability to see the amount healed in game wasn't introduced until a patch 1 month before Luclin.
