I installed this and ever since I have had nothing but trouble out of P99. How do I remove everything this has screwed up? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice.

Also now when I load up the server where my characters are it goes from full screen to windowed then back and when I click it goes to windowed. Every time I click with the mouse it goes to windowed from full screen and I can't click anything with the mouse now. I am forced to end task instead of log off.

I was able to use the dgvoodoo2 d3d9.dll with wineq2 by replacing the wineq2-d3d9.dll with the downloaded one and changing its name.
just replace it in the wineq2 folder.

Using Windows 11 on 2 monitors. Had a bunch of crashes just random like. Now I'm using WinEQ2 lite, the free version, along with borderlessgaming and it's working fine so far but I just got it.
Borderlessgaming can be found on Steam for 5 bucks. The free version was annoying to figure out so I went to Steam. Borderlessgaming let me click on non EQ things on the second monitor without the screen flashing with WinEQ2 alone. When clicked the other monitor the window on EQ would pop up from full screen but BG forces it back. Some hiccups with having to re-enable the BG full screen but it's okay. I've just altered the foreground frame rate on WinEQ2 from 40 to 100 but I haven't tested it out yet.

I still have had some crashes and I'm only using WinEQ2 and playing in windows mode but so far the only crashes have happened at character selection which is okay with me. At least I'm not crashing in combat (knock on wood.) Grrr Windows 11.

For anyone crashing, I know its been mentioned before but do try running P99 in compatibility mode...open your desktop shortcut and have a go with this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I've done it without using wineq2 and it has helped. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

In preferences, I can change the path, but not the file it targets, so it always launches the Eq exe instead of the Launch Titanium.bat How do I make WinEQ target the bat file instead?

I have the same question. I installed P99, and I installed WinEQ2. However, I'm afraid to launch WinEQ2, as it might launch the standard executable instead of the P99 Batch which could botch the install.
Does anyone know the proper way to utilize WinEQ2 with P99?

Here are the basic steps that have always worked for me. Hopefully it helps.
- Run WinEQ2 - Right-click WinEQ2 icon in system tray - In the resulting window, go to "Options" > "Preferences..." - On the left side, expand "EverQuest" > "Profiles" - Click on any of the default profiles ("Profile 1", etc.) - On the right, name it "P99" (or whatever) - Click the browse (...) button to the right of the "Everquest Path" Field - Browse to & select your P99/EQ folder and click OK - With your Profile Name & Path now set, click Apply / OK - Now Right-click WinEQ2 icon in system tray again - Go to "Everquest" > and you will see your Profile available to launch from the menu - To make a desktop shortcut, go to "EverQuest" > "Create Desktop Shortcut" > "P99" (or whatever you named your profile)
