Why are America's elite universities censoring themselves on China?

Well I'm glad you asked that question New Republic. I think the main reason America's elite self-censors is because they are boot-licking sycophants to power that have done nothing but self-censor their morality and justice to get where they are in the first place.

There is no bigger pussy than some graduate student trying to make a name for themselves in Chinese Politics. Their too young to realize they will never be the correspondent on TV talking about what Bejing wants. So they don't want to spoil their shot. School officials of course, are all about money in the short term just like every other idiot American in a position of power. And they know the Chinese Communist Party doesn't want to send their kids to a school that is anti-Chinese.

IDK -- the older generations seemed confused that when people learn to BS and make excuses for their own country's imperial behavior -- makes it easy for us to turn a blind eye to another country's imperial behavior. Why should we get to tell China what they do with Taiwan or Tibet?

that's the thing, rebellion is for sale. as is an easy facade of intellectualism. so you get these otherwise fine young men carrying water for enemy powers, because it makes their brain chemicals feel nice. the truth is all states are fraudulent, but i was born in the USA. so, on the topic of china, i vote we kill them and take their shit.
