Ongoing federal investigations make people antsy.

But you know what? I can see their point. Jack Teixeira -- and the online communities he operates, his friends -- deserves the benefit of the doubt until all the facts are in.

So I apologize to the mods. You're right.

Jack Teixeira has put a hella lot of work into his online crew over the many years, ever since the start, and he deserves fair hearing.

The only crimes P99ers are guilty of are intense drug abuse and attacking elderly women with medieval maces. Unemployment is not a crime (yet).

This place is the Nexus. Lot of folks pop in here, even if only a few times, leave trails, or conversely, are often here (hint) and have left many trails.

See, eventually you realize you're grouped with someone you did not expect.

For me it was a member of the Royal Family. Someone from my guild, a UK player, told me a "friend of his" wanted to grind in lower guk and maybe camp a quest piece.

It was Queen Elizabeth.

If they were to ask, I'd say two men in dark suits holding umbrellas would be adequate.

Better if it's not raining, but the pretense would be nice.
