Default Cheapish Ranger Chest

What's the better chest item for a ranger https://wiki.project1999.com/Barbed_Ringmail or https://wiki.project1999.com/Phase_Spider_Carapace I have about 2k set aside.

I would go phase spider carapace. It's cheaper and only offers a little bit less hp at lower levels, and more HP at higher level.

9 sv magic is respectable. Dex bonus will help procs, so the 3 str difference will be negligible at worst.

The biggest factor will be which one looks the best!

PSC. Nice stats across the board (sv magic, etc) and only lacking a few STR and hps over the barbed.

I agree with PSC. I think it has superior fashionquest stats as well.
