Wait, what? Tormax with AG? Didn't Core and PS just merge? How many undergeared raiders do you need?
Lol! Everyone on this server is WELL overgeared. We may as well straight up skip SOL and head straight in to POP. Shissar are dumb anyway.

SoL raiding was tough. Those bosses soaked up a lot of hits.

VT isn't. Just massive hp numbers but throw enough clerics and Lceas at it and they go down without issue. Real challenge in Luclin was at Emp or coth breaking TXD and DXVT (rather than clearing). Luclin raiding is really bad. But the character advancement improvements made up for it. PoP had the best of both worlds. Would never play Velious locked again, good god that's awful.

Real challenge in Luclin was to not switch to WoW.

I thought WoW competed with GoD's release?

GoD was out a full six months or so before WoW. I was a complete EQ fanboi Kool-aid drinker until that expansion, but that one lost me.

WoW took all the lessons from EQ and built something that was just more fun to play than the GoD mess for most people. EQ was doomed as a real player as soon as WoW was in open beta. EQ2 made too many mistakes to compete.

Ironically history may repeat itself as players tired of emu EQ jump ship to WoW vanilla and eventually progression servers and remember what it was like to move from this to that.
