I wasn't making any argument there. I was accurately asserting that wealth concentration exists in America ATM. That and the pace of wealth concentration is faster than the rate of growth. Which back when conservatives pretended to have an intellectual argument for their policies, was their rationalization for liberal market economies like ours (that growth lifts all boats and its better to maximize that for all groups). In reality, growth can occur while lower classes lose out. Which is what is happening in America.* And has been since around Reagan...hmmmm

* not that the growth is anything to brag about. Other economies that aren't liberal market economies have similar (in some cases far better) rates of growth.

We are represented a somwhat in the Nation Magazine. But mostly from a handful of youtube commentators. Why?

Because corporations like NewsCorp. AT&T, and Comcast, don't like our message or platform getting any airtime.

Ed Shultz was fired for wanting to cover Bernie Sanders. That platform doesn't represent the economic populist left. Which I think is probably a hell of a lot higher than 8%.

That's most of "the left" just fyi. As Dino more or less just admitted despite his constant posting about "the left" <link unrepresentative example>.

The whole idea this is a big number of people is perpetuated mostly by the alt-right. Who again, LOVE identity politics as long as its white identity politics.

White identity politics is actually a huge part of the problem in this country. It prevents normal workers from uniting around a common platform.

And my argument is that is by design. It's the billionaire media perpetuating issues keep the working class divided and ignoring ones that unite them.

I want my demographic to have protected access to the benefits of being an American citizen. Protection from employment / housing / healthcare discrimination along with access to public accommodations, which include restrooms, is the extent of my “identity politics” as far as it regards transpeople. I’d also like to not get raped if I go to prison if that’s not asking too much.

I’d also like this to apply to everyone else because human beings deserve nothing less.
