Welcome aboard! Glad you are enjoying it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

The one suggestion besides the wiki I’d make is considering joining a casual guild. Kittens Who say Meow or Dawn Believers (I’m biased to Kittens). The real-time help is often very handy to people who have less resources in the beginning. Gear, help leveling, advice and general lifelines.

If you end up falling in lava it’s nice to have a friendly group of people who want to help.

i expected too much from people here because what i read about the community.
1/5 i have a hi in return when i talk to people (between 2 mob, not to afk people).
i think i should plane to play alone until higher level.

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.

Sorry that was your experience. For the most part people are friendly and like to help out new players. Just like any multiplayer game, there are a few bad apples who only care about their own enjoyment of the game and forget they are part of a larger community experience.

Hope you give it another shot and don't paint us all with the same brush, so to speak! If you make it to Gfay and you see Yendor online, shoot me a tell and I will help you kill some stuff [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

maybe the "dps" Shadowknight who wont be told differently
In all fairness, if a shadowknight is a little low level for the group, they are basically just a DPS source. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Part of EQ is knowing when to 'follow the rules' and knowing when to break them.

Welcome to Norrath. The brutality that is EQ is still quite present on P99. Dial-A-Port helps quite a bit, though.
