Always confused as to why these low budget games need things like $40,000 to go ahead.
Also, at 30 seconds or so into the trailer the commentator says "selfie".... sorry, nope.

Yea I was like lol wut when I saw 40k lmao
But to be fair to full time develop a game like this 40k is right on point for a legitimate budget. Gamers are unusually harsh when it comes to respecting the work that goes into these things, swish.

Devs saying "pay me to do the job ive always wanted to do", I'd say.
I don't like how unoriginal it is either... the whole fusion of 2 popular games is a common thing with the indies. You like CoD right?... and you like Catlateral Damage, right? Well shit, here comes Catlateral Duty - compete with other cats to knock things off shelves the fastest, the top 2 go head to head at the end in cat vs cat combat, WITH GUNS, to determine the winner. I'm going to develop it and I think I'm worth $30k a year easy... PAY ME!

If you must insist to associate this with socialism, it only leaves me to wonder why they need so much money for the project which as a dev team have never produced any successful games in the past, not even simple ones.
Socialism costs so much but produces nothing, and the only way such a project can survive by socialism is to force others to pay for it of which got money from non-socialistic means, even of those that don't game or will ever play the game. And still yet, even if ever released, likely will wind up being a buggy broken mess of a game still in need of considerable funding, forever funding, never working. Then someone will come along and get the bright idea to do it all again counting that as some form of success.
