Default Wonder why Dial-A-Port hasn't expanded their services beyond porting.

So many sister guilds they could be rocking when they want to take a break from taxi services.

Active porters want to raid with their Druids or alt characters? Dial-A-Raid.

Need to MQ an item or escort to an NPC for turn-in? Dial-A-Quest.

Poopsockers making your raid night hell? Dial-A-Train.

Get a GM in their ranks to dole out swift retribution to rule breakers with Dial-A-Ban.

I think Dial a Rez was attempted a few years back, but didn't catch on.

Porting is just quick and easy. No need to commit to some longer thing.

knights who say ni used to be one of the biggest casual guilds on the server in vanilla. you could hit them up to put anything together. they got obliterated by TMO/IB toxic culture and all subsequent productive casual guilds would be obliterated by the TMO/IB who still raid here 20 guild tags later.

If <Dial-A-Port> does want to expand their services to include rezzing, it should be under the same guild tag. Think about it. Suppose you knew DAP does ports and rezzes now. You send a message and next thing you know, a druid and a cleric run up and rez you. How did the cleric get there? The druid ported them. They split the fee or tip. And they can even port you out after rez, if desired.

If anyone is trying to create another worldwide rez service, you'll have to have in-house porters or join DAP and work within them. Doesn't seem hard.

I recommend setting a minimum, though. Maybe something like 50 plat + 25 plat per zone line the cleric has to cross...or something. Just a minimum, whatever you think it should be, or it will turn out to be not worth it.

With reach-arounds and feet, yes.

I'm just saying I'm surprised they haven't. They certainly have the numbers to support it, and doubtless that kind of additional service would be in demand and pay well.

There's a guild cleric (daphobbit) some members have access to, if you need a res send a tell to a porter asking if the cleric is available. I've done this like fifty times. Just be prepared to tip because it's way more of an imposition to ask for a rez than a simple port.

I'm referring to green, btw, not the beta server. But I'm assuming you guys should have one too.
