Level 60 WW barb - Had to upgrade my rig though, but it was well past time for that. The "end game" seems a bit lacking so far but there is plenty to do, I guess I just really liked D3 rift system

I think I can get this game for free with the new PC I'm about to build. Doesn't mean I'll play it a lot though. D2 had something really special, partly due to the time it was released and partly because of the atmosphere and aesthetic the devs created. Plus an amazing soundtrack.

Does D4 continue that? D3 didn't at all. POE was D2's successor if only in spirit.
I just finished the main campaign and level 48. My personal thoughts are there are good and bad but it "feels" far removed from D3 to me. The story and cutscenes are really top notch. The environment and most creatures have a nice visceral feel. Violent, Gothic, and more immersive than D3 for me. I might even end up liking this more than D2/D1. I think this aesthetic is an evolution from Diablo 1 while paying homage to D2/D3 where it made sense.

Big question though since I haven't been following this game at all:

Does it have potions like D2 or stupid orbs like D3?

You have a potion slot and it’s an occasional auto pick up. Your capped at 10 refills when you cap the max slots. Not sure if that’s how d3 was its been awhile.

Barbarian spin to win was too powerful before.

Now it is ice sorcerer with infinite mana.

Looking very forward to playing Diablo4 within a year or 2 after I re-build my PC a little with a new video card!

Was gifted this on ps5 for fathers day. It's been more enjoyable than I thought. Working on a flurry rogue.
